Data collection methods
Telephone Survey (CATI)
A data collection method where the respondent communicates directly with the interviewer and answers pre-prepared, client-approved questions – most often closed-ended.
This method provides a fast and focused way to gather information and is highly reliable, as each conversation is recorded.
This ensures the research process is conducted with high quality and objectivity.
Online Survey (CAWI)
A data collection method where the respondent completes a pre-agreed questionnaire online. Such questionnaires can be detailed and comprehensive.
The main advantages of online surveys are the ability to quickly collect a large number of responses and to present questions not only in text form but also through visual, audio, or video formats – allowing respondents to engage in multiple ways.
Both closed-type (targeted respondents) and open-type (random respondents) surveys can be flexibly applied.
Face-to-Face Survey (CAPI)
A data collection method in which the interviewer directly interacts with the respondent and uses a pre-approved questionnaire.
This method allows for nationwide surveys, ensuring representative data collection by geographic location and demographic distribution (e.g., gender, age, or other criteria).
The CAPI method is flexible and adaptable to a variety of research purposes.

Frequently asked questions
Market research is most valuable when your company needs data-driven insights to support management decisions or strategic planning.
During the study, key market factors are analysed, and potential risks are identified.
Market research is especially useful when you need to gain a clear and accurate understanding of the market in which your company already operates or plans to enter.
Market research can be applied to a wide range of business needs – from solving specific business challenges to collecting essential data for decision-making.
In all cases, the purpose of market research is to help companies understand the overall market situation and provide reliable data to support informed internal decisions.
The first step is to identify your needs.
By answering key questions – why the research is needed, what its purpose is, what information you want to obtain, and what decisions you plan to make based on the collected data – we can start designing the structure of the market research.
We will then select the most suitable data collection method and prepare the questionnaire.
This question is complex and doesn’t have a single answer. Once we meet to discuss your planned market research and understand how and where you intend to use the collected data, we’ll be able to decide together which data collection method will be the most effective.
Through our long-term experience, we’ve noticed a clear trend – two main factors determine the best data collection approach: the research objective and the target audience.
